Comment: Hello Houston, uhmmm we have a problem!...I started my iMac DV Se one day, and then the Icon with the question mark started flashing. I did not think it was a biggie, because Iīve solved HD problems before with mac, but this one was a biggie. It seems the iMAC canīt find the HD at all! When I boot up from OS CD, there are no icons at all. None.. Iīm a poor guy and canīt afford to hand it over to apple. A friend suggested I open it up and check cables, but I canīt find any blueprints on the web how to do it..
Anyone have a link for "iMAC DV SE Service Manual" ?? Please people..Help me out here..!.. Explain it to me like Iīm 5 years old........Mail me or post some clues..Greetings from Stockholm, Sweden

Reply: (edit)Google for the service manual. It's out there. Unless the cable came unseated, I suspect you either have a) a dead HD (rather unlikely) or b) a need for DiskWarrior. p
