Reply: (edit)Than just force the drivers to install. I assume you are using the card as the primary display right? Just check "I will choose the drivers to be installed" option and uncheck "show compatible hardware" Scroll down to the right driver(I assume you have downloaded the 82.XX driver from nvidia, and have uncompressed it) and enjoy. I and alot of others have had very little luck getting the 6XXX series of card to run on anything past the 82.XX drivers.

Reply: (edit)It has been my experience that the most recent drivers for a graphics card are not necessarily the best. In the case of a vendor that uses unified drivers the problem gets worse. In an effert to tweak the latest generation of cards they tweak the drivers. That may be good for the new hardware but the best driver for the older card is probably the one released when the card was mature but still near the top. I recommend you back up on the driver version. Look at what came on the disk with the card and go a few versions newer than that. Exceptions are if you need a certain driver series to run a certain game or program. I just spent two days getting the complete latest driver package for an ATI AIW 9600. I almost gave up but finally succeeded. I fully intend to image the XP install on that media box to avoid that BS again.
