I am looking for a driver for a Seagate Hornet tape drive #stt320000a.
A minister friend had a hard drive crash and has lost all of of sermons and data for the last 20 years. He had it all backed up on this old tape drive. His os was 98SE but that hard drive is dead and we have no drivers to run the old tape drive under any os.
Does anyone know of or have a driver for this old thing? For any os.

But there are no drivers for this drive on their site, Seagate sold the tape drive div to Certance then Certance to Quantum, etc. But no drivers on any of these sites. At least not for this old drive.

Also some Tape drivers were rebadged Conners/Python, therefore it is hard to pin point drivers. Have you run W98 to see if it will offer drivers ??

Though NT4 would probably be a more appropriate O/S for Business Hardware.

I have found a program called DATMAN but do not know wether or not it will support your drive:
