Reply: (edit)Did you get a solution yet Joseph ? I have exactly the same problem. I have the option of a #9 video card, when I install that my machine tells me that the #9 driver is installed and working correctly but I have a problem with "the main display adpapter" ???? Any ideas out there ?

Reply: (edit)hey, I have the same exact problem. Ive tried everything from reinstalling drivers, lowering hardware acceleration. Nothing works. Please help. There should be more colors to choose from, but there's just not. Somebody please help!!!!!!!This is awfull having to look at a monitor like this!!!!!

Reply: (edit)I had the identical problem with a Toshiba v3100. I searched the win98 disc until I found an entry that stated that that was the way the program would start(16 color). I had to copy the driver for my video adapter and place it on floppy and tell the computer to use that driver instead of the suggested one(I ignored the warning that it was the wrong type). In my case I had to use the Intel(R) 810 chipset graphics driver which was on the win98 disc. Hope this helps someone. Eddie
