My cd-rom drive dissapeared

Reply: Hi, (Assuming cd-drive cables are all attached properly...) I am not familiar with xp, but in Win9x you could go to device manager by right clicking "my computer" and clicking on properties. Then you would find and remove the cd-rom and restart. It would find the hardware again and might ask for drivers. Maybe same principle will work in xp... Report Offensive Follow Up For Removal
