Hi
‘Shift+Ctrl+Alt+Del’ enters the BIOS.
I think it's been a long time since I had one of these.
I still have the two floppys that came that came with it.
On a Tutorial and the other the system disk which as a customer.bat file on it to test out the hardware.
I send copies of them to you if they are of any use to you.

Hi Mauro
I never did anything to my computer, in those days I did,nt know much about them anyway.
The battery I am guessing might be soldered to the motherboard, and looked like a capacitor.
I'll zip the two disks and sent them.
Just a thought what size hard disk are you tying to install, maybe the BIOS can't see anything above 40MB.
Partition it as a 40MB disk and them see if it's recognised by the BIOS.

Not certain of this with your machine but some batteries at that time were rectangle in shape
and the ones I have seen were black about
3/8" x 3/8" x 1 1/2".......might also look close on the silk screening for any indication
of a positive " + " and negative " - " marks to help find it....
