Subject: Generic Vesa (or CT65554) driver?
OS: Dos 6.22
CPU/Ram: 16mb
Manufacturer/Model: Toshiba Satellite 220CS
Comment:

I cannot find a Chips & Technologies 65554 video-driver for dos anywhere (only for windows 3.1)!
So I wonder if anyone knows where to find one OR some kind of a "generic VESA driver" or something that let me change resolution in dos to 800x600 (since my screen is "scaled down" with a large black border around at 640x480)!

Small wonder - DOS doesn't employ video drivers, although various applications may include their own for higher resolutions (within the application)

If that card isn't VESA compliant, then you might try the old Scitech DOS driver - although it probably won't resolve your 'border' issue
