For some apparent reason moving files from my laptop to external hard drive stopped working. After couple of seconds into the process a dialog box pops up saying ‘cannot read from the source file or disc’ Does anyone know what’s causing that? Your help would be really appreciated. Thanks

Have you restarted the computer? Can you read files from the drive?
And how old is the drive?
