my password locked and I cannot bypass or change it even though I or so I thought put the correct password in at the start I cannot get any further please help. It runs on vista and is Acer Aspire 7730.

A laptop BIOS password is a security feature and is not easily removed. Contact the manufacturer and be prepared to prove ownership
To reset the BIOS password, run BIOS_PW.
