My Acer Aspire E15 Won’t Turn On

Hi all,

My Acer Aspire stop working and won’t turn on.
I was watching video on it (on battery) when it shut down and now doesn’t want to start at all.
It does show that it is charging.
No blue, orange or green light.
Any suggestions?

      I’m afraid everything points to something wrong inside the box. Laptops are not the easiest computers to work on, so it is starting to look like the repair shop or the bin.

      However, does it “sound” as if it is working (whatever that means LOL). If so one of the many possibilities is that the cable between the screen and the motherboard is damaged in the hinge area. Put the computer on then slowly close the lid watching the screen. If you see anything flash up before the lid closes then that’s what it is all about.

      You could also try an external monitor see if it’s a screen/screen cable/screen connectors issue.
