Attrib +H C:\System.Sav /S /D Pops Up While Updating Driver

Why does a black box with a blinking cursor inside and a title at the top margin of the box saying “attrib +h C:\system.sav /s /d” popup on my HP when I’m updating my Intel 7260/3160 wireless LAN driver for Microsoft windows? Something is amiss because I the HP assistant can’t install the driver. I have windows 8.1

    1. system.sav is a folder usually found on HP computers and the DOS command you saw is not suspicious.

    2. Go to the HP site & download the drivers manually.
