Does anyone know if the Intel Core Duo E8400 processor will work with Windows 7? I am currently running Vista 64 bit OS so I would think that it does but I wanted to ask to make sure.
Will the following two devices work with Windows 7 also?
ATI all in wonder hd 3650
LG W2361 monitor.
Thanks.
That should not be a problem, especially if they work with your motherboard. I would recommend that you go to your motherboard web site and make sure that there are Windows 7 drivers for it available, Then go to AMD/Radeon site and make sure that there are drivers available for your graphics card for Windows 7. If the drivers exist then you have no problem. This is the general procedure to answer this question.
I have had E8200 running with Windows 7 for many years on a Gigabyte P43 series motherboard. As long as you have at least a G41 series MB it should be fine though a P43 or P45 would be overall better. I am not as sure about the older chipset motherboards with Windows 7.
If the drivers are available, I recommend downloading the drivers for all hardware onto a flash drive (use another computer) so as soon as Widows is installed, you can immediately do the driver install It will save you the trouble of doing it with a machine not fully functional.
