Solved Why Is Windows 7 Taking Long Time To Load Files On Startup

why is it taking a long time for windows load files on my Dell Latitude D520? because I been waiting for over an hour for it to finish and it still only not even half way done yet

      One option in the advanced boot options (F8 at start up) should be “Last Good Configuration”, if it is then take that option and it should be the first basic fix to get it to start up. If it starts but does not fully load or still takes too long then try again and take the Safe Mode option and run the three programs under Safe Mode as recommended in reply #4. Save the logs from the results (Copy Paste into Word or other program for now) and reboot into normal mode. Then copy paste the results from those logs into a reply here so they can be reviewed to see if there is more you will need to do.

      You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
