This program cannot be run in DOS mode
i have this problem ……i opened a file with the option open with but i had checked”open with this program all the files of this kind” and now all my programs are being opened with moxilla or winzip but none of them actually opens them……i tryed once with word and i got numbers ans stuffs and “cannot run in dos mode”…..pls help

Try doing a system restore to a point before you did that.
It Might Be An Executable File, But Be Cautious Of Its Sources, It Can Even Be A Virus, If You Are Sure Of Its Source And There Wont Be Antivirus Then Rename Ext To Exe And Try Running That, If Some Error Try Compatability Mode, Some Exe Files Wont Support In Windows7 may Even Run In XP.
You need to fix file associations. Many many posts on that subject.
