Solved Remote Desktop Redirected Printer Doc Upon RDP Connection

When I connect to one server, every time I connect, I receive a “Save As” window, with a document titled “Remote Desktop Redirected Printer Doc.pdf”. I am running Windows 7 64-bit connecting to Server 2003. I can not seem to find a setting to prevent this popup from displaying when connecting to this server.

      Check remote desktop application settings. Options -> Local Resources -> Printers checkbox should be unchecked. I don’t know the source of problem but this help in my case to avoid annoying ‘Redirected Docs’ in printing queue.

      BTW, if you need to redirect local printer into RDP session I’d recommend you to use third-party software, like Printer for Remote Desktop
