MBSA 2.2 Cannot Find Cab Files On Windows 7 Locally

I have installed all the MBSA 2.2 cab files in the %SystemDrive%\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Microsoft\MBSA\Cache location on Windows 7 and when I scan the local computer, MBSA gives me no cab files found error. I have no issues on Vista, Window Servers, & XP only Windows 7.

    1. You may have put the cab files in the wrong place. On Windows 7 you may have to put them in a different place compared to other versions of Windows. Read the support articles on Microsoft’s website.
