Dell Latitude E7240…have tried a number of diagnostic steps but nothing. Anybody have some thoughts?

Solution? Read a tip from years ago by user @Rhedo to remove the battery, hold power for 60 seconds, and then plug in power, leaving out the battery.
Another of their tips was to push gently in around the plug hole – it may help reseat a dodgy connection. I did both at the same time so not sure which one worked but laptop started up and proceeded to Windows 7 normally.
Be good to get some more details of your computer, operating system etc.
