Solved How Can I Get Scrabble 2003 To Install On Windows 7?

Trying to install Scrabble 2003 on Windows 7 PC. The install starts OK but then DirectX 8.1 error message appears – it says “line missing from computer”, or something similiar. Should I install DirectX 8.1? If so, where can I find a safe free download?
