I have Windows 7 32 bit installed and am trying to upgrade to Windows 10 but I got a message that my processor doesn’t support NX but that I may be able to enable it in the bios. I couldn’t find out on Intel’s website whether or not my processor Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2 GHZ will support NX. According to Microsoft, NX is used for Malware. I have a Malware program so I don’t really care if my processor supports NX or not but apparently Microsoft won’t install Windows 10 without it. I am up to date with my processor drivers but not sure whether I can enable NX with the processor I have. I have a Gateway E-4000 Desktop with a NVIDIA GeForce 6200 graphics card. Does anyone out there know for sure if this is possible on my system? Let me know if you need any further info. I appreciate any help.

It appears that your CPU does not support NX, necessary for DEP (Data Execution Protection). The BIOS cannot enable a feature your CPU does not have. That CPU is very old, released early 2002.
