Whenever I turn on my brand new dell 1764 this always show 0271 time and date error and 0251 system cmos checksum bad. I can still continue to windows 7 but the time and date always change to Aug 30 2009 and the time at 12:01 am. This always happens even after I changed it, any solutions?

It turns out that the cmos battery was just a bit unseated so by placing it properly, my laptop is now running smoothly. Thanks for the help.
