Entry Point Could Not Be Located Error

I am using Windows 7 ultimate. When i am try to install sony companion the following error occurs”The Procedure entry point SetDefaultDllDirectories could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll”.Please help to resolve this error

      Windows updates are required to fix that problem.

      Run Windows Update & install every update (especially all the KB ones) to bring your OS fully up to date.
