Blank Program Showing Up On Startup (Task Manager)

I have a new program that calls itself “program” on my startup tab in my task manager. With the command line “C:\Program” files\synaptics\syntp\syntpenh.exe Yes the second quote is after program. I am unable to find the files in this path. I can’t right click on the program to open file location. I am on a tower and not a laptop so I don’t have a track pad or anything. Thoughts on how to A) Find this program and B) remove it

      There may not be a file or folder, however that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t check to see if there’s a file or folder. I question what’s going on, because of the double quotes. According to Task Manager, what’s explicitly happening is the computer will try to run “C:\Program[.com|.exe|.bat|.cmd|.vbs|.vbe|.js|.jse|.wsf|.wsh|.msc|.cpl],” and give it the options of “files\synaptics\syntp\syntpenh.exe.”

      Now, Synaptics has been in this game a long time. I’m not expecting them to make the same mistakes they made 20 years ago. That doesn’t mean they can’t, nor does it mean someone else who repackaged it into their own installer is competent, but it does require further investigation.
