That doesn’t tell us a whole heck of a lot. The make/model of the system (or motherboard) are required. All systems are different. Most retail motherboards use the Del key to access the BIOS, but it can be others. OEM boards use a variety of possibilities depending on the OEM, but usually F1, F2, or F10. Tab & Esc are other keys that are used for different things. F5 is often used to bring up the boot menu & F8 will get you into Windows Safe mode, up to & including Win7. Win8/10 use a totally different method.

(I don’t have a later version of Office\Word for windows OS…). It too is a lacking a few options found in Word 2003, 2007, 2010 and presumably 2013. So I can’t test any of the links I’m posting here; but reading their content etc. they do appear to show how to do what you want…

    http://en.community.dell.com/suppor…

Also a recommended replacement from there of a Geforce 440.

The gts 240 is an OEM card used by Dell and maybe some others. I looked on Dell’s site for driver support for that card and could only find drivers for up to windows 7. Nvidia does have a Geforce windows 10 driver–version 341.74–that would work. I can’t give a direct link but start here:

    http://www.geforce.com/drivers

The automatic update or auto-detect gpu would probably work but if you do the manual search the options on the right would be:

    Geforce
    Geforce 200 series
    Geforce GTS 240
Window 10 64 bit (it’s the same download for 32 bit)
    English
    All

Edit Oh well, here a direct download link:

    http://www.geforce.com/drivers/resu…

So either a good cleaning, card replacement or driver update should get it going.

HDCP is a form of DRM (Digital Rights Management) which is basically a handshake technology to prevent piracy. What is does is prompts a device (the PlayStation) to send a message to an output device (the television) asking “am I good to go?”. If the output device doesn’t respond or gives the wrong response the PlayStation refuses to play. A device in between will most certainly cause this issue because as far as they’re concerned it could be some kind of capture or decryption hardware.

Sony are infamous for using DRM technology to protect their brand and all the big players do it. So unfortunately if you do find an HDMI switch that will do the trick for now there is a possibility it might become useless with a software upgrade either to the tv or consoles.

Interestingly though I have a Yamaha amp that I run all my equipment through via HDMI to my Samsung tv and have never had a problem getting devices to communicate with each other. None of them are Sony branded though. I have a Panasonic HDD recorder, Samsung Bluray, Netgear NeoTV and an Xbox 360.

Edit: Here’s an interesting article on DRM and HDMI HDCP technology from the people at howtogeek :

I tried to install LAN driver from gigabyte

Why Gigabyte? Only Lenovo have the correct drivers for Lenovo laptops. Gigabyte has nothing to do with your laptop. Anyway, it’s not a driver issue.

If Device Manager isn’t showing a wired connection network adapter, and there are no error symbols in there, it means the wired connection adapter is faulty. Windows can’t find it because of the faulty component.

Contact Lenovo to have it repaired.
