DO NOT install drivers for the device when Found New Hardware pops up for the device, BEFORE you have installed the software for the device, unless the instructions tell you otherwise !
If you DID do either of those things, and if the instructions DID NOT tell you otherwise, then you need to un-install the software for the device and install it again the right way ! ,,,,,,,,,,
If you DID follow the installation directions….
It is a VERY good idea to DISABLE the resident module(s) (a component that runs all the time in the background looking for suspicious activity) from running of all anti-malware software or third party software firewalls you have installed BEFORE you install software yourself, because sometimes the resident module interferes with the proper installation of the software, and you usually get no indication of that having caused the problem(s) while installing the software or after you have attempted to install the software. When you’re sure the software you have installed is working properly, enable the resident moldule(s) again.
Never have the resident module(s) for more than one anti-malware or third party software firewall program running at the same time, otherwise they are likely to clash with each other and cause you problems . Some anti-malware software has a software firewall built into it – e.g. the paid version or trial version of AVG 2011. Some anti-malware software behaves like a software firewall – e.g. AdAware and Spybot.
You may need to plug the device into a diifferent USB port.

Cheaper ones with obscure brand names (Color Turn? I’ve never heard of it) are not worth buying. Spend a bit more on a well-known brand like Transcend, Sandisk, Kingston or Verbatim. They are more robust and less likely to give trouble.
But whatever brand you buy, you should never use one for storing important files!
They are designed only for short-term storage such as when you want to transfer a few files from one PC to another.

If you didn’t do that AT ALL TIMES, you may have DAMAGED something.
Many mboards have an led on the surface of them that lights up when the power supply is supplying DC power to the mboard, even when the computer is NOT running. That led must be OFF when you’re fiddling with plugging in and unplugging connections and components inside the case. The power supply has capacitors that may cause that led to stay lit for a short time after the AC power to the power supply has been disconnected. …..
It sounds like you have a ram problem.
It MAY be your ram has a poor connection in the ram slots.

This hasn’t got anything to do with ram errors, but READ your mboard manual. Some mboard models support three modules being in triple channel mode, but some DO NOT.
If the mboard DOES support three modules being in triple channel mode, they must be installed in specific ram slots in order for the triple channel feature to actually work.
If the mboard DOES NOT support three modules being in triple channel mode, three modules will be in single channel mode no matter which ram slots you install them in. …..
If that doesn’t help, you may have installed ram modules that are NOT 100% compatible with being installed in your mboard model …..
Patriot ram is known to be more likely to cause you problems if you don’t make sure the modules you’re using are listed for your specific mboard model by Patriot.
You are supposed to use your specific mboard make and model with that to look up which ram modules are listed for (= are 100% compatible with) your specific mboard model.
If the part numbers of any of the modules found by the configurator program are a match to what you bought, then the ones you bought should work fine with your specific mboard model.
If NONE of the part numbers of the modules found match what you bought, then there’s no guarantee the ram modules you bought will work properly with your model !.
However, their list of mboard models often doesn’t list your specific mboard model, and if it doesn’t, there’s no guarantee the ram modules you bought will work properly with your mboard model.
(Patriot, G-Skil, and OCZ often don’t have your specific mboard model listed. We have frequently heard on this web site about people having problems with G-Skil and OCZ ram, especially, that isn’t listed for their mboard model. ) …..

I recently assembled a 100% new system for a friend. He had bought a pair of DDR3 1600 mhz 4 gb “AMD Memory” modules, which are made by Patriot.
I had all sorts of strange problems when I installed Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit on that system. Windows Setup completed successfully, but I was getting all sorts of oddball errors in Windows 7, and eventually Windows 7 would not load normally at all. It’s built in troubleshooter could not fix the problem(s).
The ram tested fine when I used a bootable ram diagnostics program to test it with, sort of. It found no ram errors, but that version of Memtest86 is supposed to be able to use all the cpu cores the cpu has to speed up the time it takes for it to complete one pass of all the diagnostics tests, and that wasn’t working properly. The cpu , FX-8150, has 8 cores.
The same Memtest86 version on the same disk uses the two cpu cores found on another system I have fine – on an Athlon 64 X2 6000+
I went to the Patriot web site and used their ram configurator program. They DID NOT list the specific model of the Asus mboard I had installed – M5A99X EVO. They didn’t list Asus anything above M4A89……!
(Update – they NOW list M5A99X EVO, but the part numbers listed do NOT include the one for the “AMD Memory” modules my friend had bought. )

If you DO have a problem caused by ram that is not 100% compatible, you will have to install Windows 7 from scratch after you have fixed that problem.

The very narrow case cannot have a standard sized power supply installed in it – it’s got an oddball sized tiny power supply that has only a 220 watt max output capacity.
You could install a PCI-E X16 video card, however your choices are very limited, because there are very few video chipsets that will work fine when your system has only a 220 watt power supply. You might be able to get away with one a recommended 250 watt power supply is specified for.
E.g. Radeon X1300, X1300Pro, X1300SE, X1300XT; GeForce 5200, FX 5200, 7200 GS (250 watt PS)
Radeon HD 2400 (200 watt PS)
Your power supply must have at least the minimum capacity required to support a system with the graphics card you are using installed, or the max graphics card you might install in the future. (Onboard video – video built into the mboard – IS NOT A CARD ! ) If that info is not in the ad for the video card, you can go to the video card maker’s web site and look up the specs for the model – often under system requirements – the minimum PS wattage, and, more important, the minimum amperage the PS must supply at 12v is stated. If you don’t find that, any card with the same video chipset including any letters after the model number has very similar minimum PS requirements. Some power supplies have two or more +12v ratings – in that case, add those ratings to determine the total +12v current capacity.
If you find the part number on the power supply and search the web with that for a replacement power supply, you MAY find an oddball one that has a higher wattage capacity that will fit in the computer case, but it won’t likely be any higher than 350 watts or so.
The video card probably must have a Low Profile (shorter in height) metal bracket, or both a regular sized and Low Profile bracket. Some video cards have two Low Profile brackets – the second one installs in a slot space and has another type of port hole, in case you need that – one of the ports on the card connects via a ribbon cable to the card – that port can be installed in the port hole in the bracket in the slot space. ….
Another alternative is to upgrade the CPU to one that has a better integrated video adapter. Contact emachines about that.
Or – return the computer, spend more money, and get a better one that has a regular sized (width) tower case – they’re much easier to upgrade ! Or, get one that already has a decent video card installed in a mboard slot.

The one below seems rather well made – and it’s worth viewing their videos (albeit with loads of hype too…) as they do a demo towards the end – using a live stream from an SLR camera!
I doubt the adapter imports the audio too so you would need to get something along the line I suggested earlier for audio; unless there are adapters etc. which will import audio as well with the hdmi source?
The two approaches seem to an all in one adapter (video only) as below, or a capture card with an hdmi port..
Either way you may still need some software – depending on the device/method you use? You have a little research to do in both regards…
Incidentally – don’t necessarily go the cheapest… Often you get what you pay for with a lot of these items; but no need I suspect to go to top grade (profesional) level kit?
