count no. of rows with multiple creteria in excel 2003

hello I have a sheet like

A B C
12 3-jun-12 paper
23 10-jun-12 copy
14 1-jul-12 paper
145 15-jun-12 media
123 10-jul-12 copy

now I would like to count no of rows containing paper in column C & date between 1-jun-12 to 30-jun-12 in column A .
Also count no of rows containg either copy or media in column C & date Between 1-jun-12 to 30-jun-12 in column A

I am working with excel 2003.

please find the solution……….
