Solved WD My Book World Edition NAS Not Showing Up On My PC

I have a WD Mybookworld network drive connected directly to my computer but it is not showing up under “Network” in explorer for some reason.

I know it is working properly because I can manually type in \\mybookworld it will show up but once i close that window it’s gone again.

Any ideas?

      No this is not the only way, but it is the right way.

      Other then that, you will have to set a static IP address on your NAS and a static IP on your computer that have the same gateway and domain.
