Solved Nexxt Solutions Router Won’t Connect To The Internet, Help!!

I bought a nexxt solutions router, i did everything the installation guide said to do and yet its not connecting to the internet. when i unplug it from my zhone modem, my internet works fine, but when i connect the nexxt router to it, my pc nor my phone etc won’t go to the internet. what am i doing wrong here? I searched for answers elsewhere but they just keep saying something about the dns and ip, i don’t understand whats thats for. please help. i really need this thing to work. i have alot of work to do. thank you 🙂
