I have a hp laptop which has Windows Vista Home prem, and a desktop with Window XP SP3, both have AVAST.
The Problem.
This started a few weeks, I am unable to access some websites on my laptop which is connected via wifi to my belkin router. The websites are general websites like “businessinsider.com” or ” Wiki Answers”, some forums, zillow.com but some others like yahoo, youtube, streeteasy, realtor.com work fine. I use Opera browser which displays
the message :
” Could not locate remote server”
Tried the same with Chrome, which displays:
” Unable to access the network”
Error 21 (net::ERR_NETWORK_CHANGED): A network change was detected.
When I hardwire my laptop to the router or while using the desktop which is connected to the router via LAN all the websites work.
I have tried turning off the Web shield and Network shield on the laptop when connected via wifi but no go.
Could really use some help and thank you for taking your time to read through this.
