Solved How To Setup Epson Stylus SX200 Printer For Wireless Access

How to setup my PCTV for HDTV modem and my epson stylus sx200 for wireless access from my custom PC with Windows 7 64bit and from my Acer laptop running Windows 7 32bit. Want to loose as many cables as possible.

Understand that I need an IP address so ran ipconfig and found:

Wireless LAN adapter Wireless Network Connection 2:

Connection-specific DNS suffix:…. home
Link-local IPv6 Address: ……………fe80::f8a7:451c:3967:1b6%17
IPv4 Address: ………………………..192.168.1.6
Subnet Mask: ………………………..255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: ……………………192.168.1.1

and then the ethernet connection details.

That’s as far as my knowledge goes. How to proceed further ?

      The main problem you have is that the printer is not made for network printing, either wired or wireless. If you must use that printer then you need to get a USB network print adapter which may cost as much as the printer itself. If you have a choice of printers then any of the Epson range with a ‘w’ in their model number would signify the ability to print wirelessly.
