Error Occured While Loading Archive!

Hi Dear Experts,
I installed Ubuntu, But the problem to install the driver for hardware, the red caution message pops up
” error occured while loading the archive”
I will be waiting for your reply?

    1. Which drivers are you looking for? If it’s for the modem, you’re going to have problems. A “soft modem” (aka Winmodem) is designed to work with Windows, not Linux. It can be done, but it’s not easy. You’d be better off getting an external hardware modem that connects to the serial port…they’re easier to configure & generally work much better.

    2. I’m disappointed that you went with Ubuntu rather than Mint. Did you do the full install to the hard drive or did you install it inside Windows? Which drivers are you trying to install & how are you trying to install them?

      Go to the Mint website & download the ISO file for Mint 9. Then use a program such as ImgBurn to burn it to a CD.
