hi my ipad screen is not coming on. It’s showing a grey screen. when i connect it to itunes it connects, but the screen still don’t come up . What should I do?

If it’s an iPad 2, there was a known screen hardware issue with those models – screen would turn grey and stay grey. For those who were lucky enough to still be in the warranty period when it happened, Apple replaced the screen free of charge, but if warranty has expired they will charge you to have it replaced.
I learned all the above from the official Apple user’s forum today.
Best thing is to contact Apple and see what sort of deal they offer you on a repair or replacement iPad.
