Solved iPad display doesn’t turn off when close the cover

Hi!all! I want to know how can my iPad air sleep or wake the display automatically when I close cover? I need to install any software or just change the new cover? I google about solution that solve the problem, but they suggest me to go to setting –> general–> cover on/off. Unfortunately, my iPad Air which using iOS 7.0.6 hasn’t have this function!!! I am happy to get any solution from all of you!!!

      The option you are looking for is in General, Lock / Unlock and if you look right under that option it tells you “Automatically lock and unlock your iPad when you close and open the iPad cover”.
