Why Is Error Code 1303 Showing When There Is Definitely No P

Cannon Pixma MX535 Error 1303 No paper jammed
Have been through the stated proceedure and there is no paper jammed in the printer. The error code 1303 still shows when the OK button is pressed and when the machine is turned on.
