How do I get rid of a thin horizontal line across my Dell Latitude laptop screen? It just appeared yesterday. I tried going into display settings and see if i could fix it there.

First of all, tell me that thin line is always visible in the same place or doesn’t disappeared or changes its location also?
As per your problem, I googled and found that people who got the suggestions regarding this issue has overcome from this matter. People suggests them to connect a laptop to an external Monitor or a TV and check whether the problem remains same or not. If you are not facing any problem, it means, that there is something wrong with the Laptop’s Display Screen, and you need to be replace it, else, you have an issue with the Graphic Cards.
