Which CUDA Version Should I Install?

I just got my GeForce 9500GT . I checked and my GPU can support Cuda.. but which version should i pick? my only intention of installing cuda is because i heard that it optimizes my GPU’s performance, is it true?

  1. The 9500GT is a very low end card plus it’s approx 3 yrs old. I don’t know what your plans are for it, but you could have & should have selected a better card if decent performance is what you’re after, especially gaming performance.

    so..in the end..which version of cuda i should install?

    I don’t know what you think you’re going to accomplish. Are you hoping for better gaming performance? Or do you work for a research lab? Which CUDA optimized programs will you be running?
