To reset the BIOS, you MUST unplug the power cord before doing anything. If you do not unplug the power, the BIOS will not clear. The Clear CMOS jumper is near the CMOS battery. All you need to do is move it to the ‘clear’ position, wait a few seconds, then move it back to the ‘normal’ position. Plug in the power, bootup, then access the BIOS & correct all the settings. As an alternative, you can remove the CMOS battery for a few seconds (with power unplugged).
