P5G41C-M LX Stuck On Motherboard Boot Screen

hi, i have this computer that was working fine for a couple of months until the power cut out once( not a power surge) but it simply cut out and when i turn the computer back on it just stays stuck on the boot screen. i have UPnP keyboard and still unresponsive, everything was working fine until that point. Nothing has been overclocked or tampered with. can anyone help?

  1. Steps:
    Turn off every peripheral device attached to the computer.
    Disconnect the system power cord from its AC power source.
    Remove the computer case cover.
    Find the CMOS battery on the motherboard. …
    Remove the CMOS battery. …
    Wait for between 1–5 minutes.
    Reinsert the battery.
    Return the computer case cover back on.

  2. Your system is hanging up on post (power on self test).
    Since it wont let you into bios, it’s probably not the old Keyboard not found, hit any key to continue.
    Try each ram stick one at a time to see if they work.If they do, now you need to check the drives, one at a time.
    That would include hard drive cd/dvd drives and any old floppies/usb t\drives etc.
    Just disconnect the drive, and try to get to bios.
    If it’s not the drives, check any add in cards you have, like nic, modem (ya some people do still use phone modems), sound card, etc. Just pull them out, and try to get to bios.
    BTW if you just added a second drive to an existing pata cable, you may have forgotten to designate one as slave, the other as master.
    Please remember to turn power off, before disconnecting, pulling anything. I use the power switch on the back of the psu, as that keeps the system grounded.
