NTI Backup Now Ez Doesn’t Recognize The Destination Location

Have used the Canvio Desk 2TB – NTI Backup Now ez for about a year now. When plugged into my Toshiba Satellite 300 USB, I can see and search the Canvio Desk External Hard Drive. But when hit the back-up icon button on the NTI Backup Now pop-up screen, another pop-up screen says “Job cannot run because of invalid destination”. When you try to “Modify” the destination, there are no Hard Drives listed to choose from.

    2. There are two possible solutions:

      Verify the Portable USB Hard Drive is securely connected to the computer using the USB cable provided.
      Verify the Portable USB Hard Drive is selected as the backup destination using the procedure below:
      1. Click OK to close the message.
      2. Backup Location, click on Modify.
      3. Select backup destination, select External Hard Drives.
      4. Click Finish.
      5. Click Backup, answer Yes to start the Backup.
