I have tested the 128 USB in 2 computers, both of which read it fine… I re-checked the TV USB connection with an older 16GB USB, also reads it no problem…. Seems to be the TV reading the 128, any help would be much appreciated

The quickest way is to check your TV’s ports and make sure they are fine. In most cases, a dusty or a faulty USB port is the cause of the issue. After that, update the firmware on your TV and then format your USB drive in FAT32.
To add to the above comment. You need to verify what type and size USB device the TV can read. Format type may also be relevant. If I had to guess I would guess the capacity is the issue, but FAT32 vs NTFS might also be the issue.
What is the full model of the TV?
I have read various comments about reformatting to FAT32 any thoughts on if that will help? Or am I risking screwing up the whole thing?
It may not be able to read a drive of that size, check the manual.
