Solved Monitor Randomly Turns Itself Off Whilst Gaming

I have a CROSSOVER BLACK TUNE 2763AMG IPS LED 27 and a computer that in only a few months old that has just been built. Occasionally, but more often that not after the computer has had hours of use and only ever while I am playing a game, the monitor will all of a sudden turn off. If i leave it for a while the monitor will turn itself back on but I can also immediately just turn it back on at the power button. Once it happens once it frequently happens every couple of minutes for a little while until it either is given a rest for a little or i stop playing a game for some time.

Any suggestions as to why the monitor turns itself off?

      Chris is right, most likely it has nothing to do with the Computer, it is just that your screen is overheating. On the other hand, if the power light on the monitor is still on, then it is probably a problem with the Graphics Card overheating. If this is the case I would suggest having a professional install an exhaust vent onto the card to draw away some extra heat.
