Hi
I have HP G-6 laptop with windows 7 installed. The laptop has dual video cards:
1. AMD Radeon HD 7600M Series
2. Intel HD Graphics 4000
The laptop comes with preinstalled DOS. So I removed it and installed windows 7. I installed all the drivers and they installed successfully. But when I logon to windows 7, after 1-2 minutes, it gives me error that:
“load mmdriver application has stopped working”
I did some research and found that this error belongs to amd vga card driver. I have tried the latest stable as well as beta driver from amd but the error is appearing all the times.
Some posts on internet suggest to remove windows vista and move back to windows 7 but obviously this is not the case here.
Kindly help me to solve this problem.

So try the graphics driver from HP for that model. Uninstall existing AMD driver first.
Incidentally, it’s strange for that model to have DOS pre-installed. According to my research the Pavilion g6 series leaves the factory with Windows 7 pre-installed (and with drivers from HP).
Since you’ve installed a “clean” retail Windows 7 it’s very likely many of the drivers that Windows Setup has installed are not exactly the right ones. Visit the HP website which serves your country and grab the correct drivers for that model.
