Laptop Stuck On 65536 KB OK

i have a HP nc6000 laptop and i m facing this problem . When i pressed power button laptop starts but on there are numbers increasing form “0 KB OK” to “65536 KB OK” very fast and then nothing happens just this screen . . . please help

    1. thanks Richard but problem solved by pressing ESC button while its running but thank you very much for your help . . . .

    2. So it’s not booting past the initial check of VRAM.
      To troubleshoot you may need to disconnect any drives and if it still fails to boot past the VRAM check then I suspect bios corruption or a motherboard failure.
      I know little about laptop systems so not sure whether the motherboard has a CMOS reset jumper
