I Forgot My Hdd/Ssd Password

  • 9

So I have 2 laptops one for school and the other for home, I graduated 6 months ago and have not picked up school laptop till the last few days and I can not remember the hdd password that I had set on it , I have tried everything,

so here is a question for neone that knows the answer.

how do i bypass the hdd/ssd password on a toshiba laptop.

i have tried accessing the bios which is not accessible unless i put in hd password which i have forgotten.

i have tried removing hd and accessing bios which is successful except then i can not change hd specifacations due to no hd in laptop.

i have searched online and found no help.

i have put in diff hd but does not work cause no OS on hd and now that I have done that and put that hd back in external usb case its undetected by my other laptop and seems to be locked also now too.

here is the info for my laptop and hd:

Toshiba satellite C855D-S5303

HD: Hitachi 320gb sata 3.0gbs -info = inserted image

I have tried looking for a backdoor password but dont know how to access that if I cant get into system? any help would be awesome. image below is what I am seeing minus the 1 after both hdd/ssd.

  1. “RE. #`11 once again ill state that i cant even recover the drive thru formatting”
That will be your next option, take it out & slave it to a PC ( not a laptop ).

Make sure you delete ALL partitions & Format to NTFS. Be very careful, double, double check you are working on the laptop drive.

Notebook / Netbook / Laptop Hard Drive to Desktop Adapter (2.5″ to 3.5″)
