HP Vs Gateway Laptop

Hi guys,
I am confused between following two laptops (HP pvilion g4-2149se VS Gateway NV52L15U). HP was 428$ and Gateway was $373. Please provide which one is better for watching movies, doing daily activities, and may play few games. I know both of them can do this, but which one is better for above mentioned activities?

      Did you compare the specs? It appears the HP comes with a dual core & Win7, the Gateway comes with a quad core & Win8. You’re going to have to pay more if you want to be able to play games, unless you’re willing to settle for running them on low settings. Then again, it would depend on the game – FreeCell & MineSweeper will fly on either one of them!
