The Persang Karaoke wired mike I have connects to TV (audio and video) via RCA jacks. Is there a way I can give that signal (audio and video) to my laptop or desktop?

If you search for hdmi capture, and/or hdmi capture cards, you’ll find quite a few. The big forest/river company has a range; and some are pretty cheap… No idea which are all they’re cracked up to be… so it may be a case of buy and try; and with that big river company you can always return within 30days if not suitable?
The one below seems rather well made – and it’s worth viewing their videos (albeit with loads of hype too…) as they do a demo towards the end – using a live stream from an SLR camera!
I doubt the adapter imports the audio too so you would need to get something along the line I suggested earlier for audio; unless there are adapters etc. which will import audio as well with the hdmi source?
The two approaches seem to an all in one adapter (video only) as below, or a capture card with an hdmi port..
Either way you may still need some software – depending on the device/method you use? You have a little research to do in both regards…

Incidentally – don’t necessarily go the cheapest… Often you get what you pay for with a lot of these items; but no need I suspect to go to top grade (profesional) level kit?
