how do i reset sata port 0 hdd user pasword f

i originally forgot my bios password that i had set before going to bootcamp upon my return i realized i forgot my bios password. after doing some research i found that pulling the bios battery out will reset bios password. but now when i turn the laptop on it asks for SATA PORT 0 HDD PASSWORD. i can hit f2 and change passwords but before i can put new password i need to verify old password.. is there a master password or do you possibaly have some info on how to recover or by pass hdd password.
