I WAS GIVEN A MAG COMPUTER MONITOR BUT THERE IS NO WHERE TO PLUG IT INTO THE WALL AND SO I FIGURED THE CPU WOULD PROVIDE POWER BUT I HOOKED IT UP AND NOTHING HAPPENED. I JUST CANT FIGURE IT OUT.
We’ve looked everywhere. It has a compartment on the back but there is no where to hook a power cord into it. It is a flat screen.

Probably a tiny jack plug or socket somewhere on the monitor in which you connect an external Power Supply like laptops have.
So do not look for a standard power socket look for a jack plug or similar it may even have a voltage (12 V) marked alongside it.

☺ When everything else fails, read the instructions.
Look underneath the stand.
It has to be there somewhere. You can see the specifications which says it needs an external PSU.
Someone brought me this screen
And I allso beeing looking for the plug-in and did not find it
I GOOGLE it and found this post
I kept looking and Finally found it at the end of the vga cable
Near the screws you will see a hole for the power jack
they use the same cable for the power and the data
I’ve never seen such a thing
