How Can I Reset Asus Laptop HDD Password?

im using a ASUS laptop, and forget the hard drive password
i reset the cmos, after that i could logon windows but when i swich off the laptop for more
than 3 times it just freeses, please can some one help me on how to solve this probelem?

      Wither contact whoever you acquired the laptop from and ask then what the password is or contact Acer with proof of ownership and they might tell you how to unlock it.

      Hard drive passwords are a security device specific to laptops because laptops can easily be stolen. The hard disk is matched to the hardware in such a way that it makes it difficult to use without the password.
