My computer was stolen and along with it went the usb piece that matched my logitech cordless mouse. I adquired a different usb piece from the same type of mouse from a friend. Is there a way to reprogram my mouse to this other usb piece ? it is from the same brand and model as the mouse itself. Thank you, I will appreciate any help.

This is done with the “Logitech Connection Utility”. It can be downloaded
Using the mouse that you want to configure, start Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center. Select the app-specific settings. Click Add New button, select the program that you want. If the program that you want is not on the list, click Manually Add a Program at the bottom, select the program.
