Solved Hard Drive Self Monitoring System

i am having a similar problem with my dell optiplex 330. it is saying “hard drive SELF MONITORING SYSTEM has reported that a parameter has exceeded its normal operating range. Dell recommends that you back up your data regularly. A parameter out of range may or may not indicate a potential hard drive problem”, and then it will have options saying “strike the F1 key to continue, F2 to run the setup utility
F5 to run onboard diagnostics. Yet when i hit F1 it takes me to a “start windows normally” that takes me back to the beginning of the same process. I am not sure what to do any advice?
